TEMA Code of Conduct & Behavioral Agreement

Purpose
This agreement outlines the behavioral expectations for all participants attending any Team Elite Martial Arts (TEMA) programs, classes, camps, or events.

Behavioral Expectations
All participants are expected to:

Treat others with respect at all times; no physical or verbal harm, bullying, or inappropriate language.
Use appropriate indoor voices unless an activity requires otherwise.
Respect personal space and keep hands to themselves.
Remain in designated areas and within sight of TEMA staff at all times.
Walk indoors; running in rooms or hallways is not permitted.
Remain seated and use good manners while eating.
Clean up after themselves, including food, toys, games, and equipment.
Use TEMA equipment, materials, computers, and electronic devices responsibly and only with permission.
Follow all TEMA rules, policies, procedures, and staff instructions.
Act responsibly and contribute to a safe, positive environment.

Consequences for Misconduct

Minor issues will be addressed with verbal reminders and redirection.
Continued behavior may result in additional warnings and parent/guardian contact.
Repeated violations may require parent/guardian pickup and a conference with the Head Instructor.
Ongoing or serious issues may result in removal from the program or event.

Immediate Dismissal
The following behaviors may result in immediate dismissal from any TEMA program or event:

Physical assault or threats toward staff or others
Threats to staff property
Possession of weapons or look-alike weapons
Arson, bomb threats, or false emergency alarms

Policy Notice
These expectations may be updated as required to comply with federal, provincial, or municipal regulations and for the safe operation of TEMA programs. Participants are expected to follow all rules and respect the rights of others, even if not explicitly listed.
